16-The Tower
Upright
The Tower represents unavoidable disasters, shock, and chaos. Think of an earthquake, hurricane, an unexpected circumstance, or anything that is beyond your control. Sometimes bad things happen and you just have to deal with it. The Tower appears when it has nothing to do with your personal actions, it's all about what is happening around you and how that affects your day to day life. Giving a helping hand and surviving the worst might be all you can do at this time. Hopefully you have the support of loved ones or you give support to loved ones in this time of need. You will get through this, keep the faith. If you asked about a relationship, there will be outside factors that will keep you apart. For instance, it may be a long distance relationship, disapproving family members, or his job requires him to travel for extended periods of time, but if you really care for one another, it can work. If you asked how someone feels about you, then it is "love at first sight". He/she saw you and it was like cupid's arrow struck straight to the heart. The shock of having an unexpected immediate attraction. It might have even caused a physical reaction like a pain in the chest or weak knees.
Reversed
The Tower reversed is avoidable disasters. This is easy to understand, imagine your car breaking down on the freeway, yet you knew that you needed to repair your car for months already, add that you had the money, an available mechanic, and a day off to go get the car fixed, yet you chose not to go. There is no reason for your car to be stuck on the freeway now, you were simple being irresponsible. To you it feels like the Tower upright, yet didn't you do this to yourself? You might be shocked by the circumstances, but didn't you see it coming? If you asked about a relationship, this is when you know it's a bad idea but you do it anyways. Imagine going on a first date, he tells you he has a sex addiction, you continue to date him, six months later, you catch him in bed with another woman. You are shocked and upset, but didn't he tell you that he had this problem? It may also be that timing and circumstances will not let you be together, no matter how hard you try.
17- The Star
Upright
The
Star represents inspiration, hope, creativity, and beauty. The Star
says; don't give up, hold on because something wonderful is coming. You
must stay positive and focus on what you are trying to achieve. It could
be that you are dreaming of your perfect future or "wishing on a star".
You will soon find inspiration that will guide you to make your dreams a
reality. This is a good card to get for artist, musicians, or for
anyone with creative endeavors. If you asked about a love interest, he
is inspired by you (or vise versa), you are his muse. If you asked about
a relationship, he just might be your soul-mate.
Reversed
The
Star reversed is losing hope. Someone who has given up on their dreams.
You are feeling uninspired and have "thrown in the towel". Giving up
too soon, you are lacking creativity, too rigid, or feeling numb. You
may see the world as dull, choosing to focus on all the negative aspects
of your day. It could be someone who is on the verge of depression.
This is the time to get out of your house and force yourself to focus on
the positive. If you asked about love, there is a touch of desperation
in this relationship. Only you can make you happy, relying on someone
else to make you happy will only create sorrow.
